Faith in humanity is believing that everyone is inherently good and deserving of respect.

This is a baseline respect.

We should not disrespect others based on physical characteristics. This is basic empathy, put yourself in their shoes.

We are all unique individuals. There are many aspects of our physical and behavioral manifestations that are out of our control.

This isn't to say that you should move through life with trust in everyone.

Respect is reciprocal. One should not suffer those who do not respect you. This applies to family.
